G-Dragon & Jennie Attend Chanel Event At Paris Fashion Show Despite Past Dating Rumors
On January 28th (local time), top Korean idols G-Dragon and BLACKPINK’s Jennie showed up at the Chanel 2025 S/S Couture Collection show, which took place at Grand Palais in Paris, France.
The two’s appearances drew keen attention from fans all over the world as they used to be embroiled in dating and breakup dating in the past.
G-Dragon heated up the atmosphere at the venue as soon as he appeared in a unique styling with a black and white lace jacket and pants set from 2024/25 Métiers d’art Collection Look 36 and a silk muslin blouse. Highlighting the strong contrast between black and white, the outfit harmonized with G-Dragon’s charismatic aura, proving his presence as a fashionista.
Jennie stole the attention with her sophisticated look. She wore a top and cape from the S/S 2025 Ready-to-wear Collection Look 72 and wool pants from the 2024/25 Métiers d’art Collection Look 72. The female star paired the set with a classic mini bag with hooks from the 2024/25 Métiers d’art Collection and emphasized her fashion sense in a creative way by using a necklace from the 2025 S/S Ready-to-wear Collection as a belt.
The reason G-Dragon and Jennie’s appearances received special attention was their past dating rumors. In 2021, dating rumors arose following various photos and witness stories. Their agency back then, YG Entertainment, replied that they could not confirm anything related to the romance because it was the artists’ personal life and remained silent even until their breakup rumors.
In addition, both G-Dragon and Jennie have been working with Chanel as ambassadors for a long time and are known to be the faces of the brand. The two were both spotted at 2NE1’s 15th-debut anniversary concert in October last year but they reportedly sat in different seating areas.
